This is our first year participating in Salsa on St. Clair and we are thrilled!  You may have already heard that the WHBIA has negotiated to participate in Salsa on St. Clair this July 14 & 15, 2007. What you may not know is that Salsa has decided to go green. The boundaries of Salsa are extending into our BIA from Christie to Wychwood and after many discussions, Salsa is going green.

Spearheaded by the BIA Board, Salsa has adopted a streaming system to sort recyclable waste from general garbage waste. This system includes the participation of many volunteers and Toronto Waste Management. This was a major accomplishment for our BIA as this initiative will reduce the overall environmental impact of Salsa in the business / residential area.
